North Shore Kauai Area Guide

Home of Hanalei Town, the Napali Coast, Kilauea Lighthouse, lush taro fields and world class surf breaks, Kauai’s north shore is pretty much candy land for humans.  The north shore is pretty mellow and like most north shores of the Hawaiian Islands, its hair is a little longer and flip flops a little sandier. Fear not! If you are into the luxury scene, there is plenty of that too. The St. Regis lives at the end of Princeville’s Ka Haku road and if you aren’t interested in the hotel vibe you can vacation rent a beachfront home on Hanalei Bay.

It’s got a little bit of everything. You can settle inside of the Princeville gates in one of a host of homes or condo’s (or the Regis, Hanalei Bay Resort or Westin) or you can find a work-trade camp somewhere off the beaten path in Kilauea. It’s really that diverse!
